These shoes are built for people with high arches and who have the types of foot problems that can result from this. At the time there was a shoe company that gave a description of each shoe they sold telling exactly what type of shoe and what types of foot problems a shoe was meant to address. You need to keep these 2 things in mind when considering these shoes: (1) I bought my first pair of these shoes about 8 years ago. I'll try to tell you what I know in order to help others. This shoe runs very small to size and it is possible that someone who would find it a good match for their problems will give up just because they can't find the right size.
